Samsung R451C for Net10 review

This is a brief review of the Samsung R451C for Net10. The focus of the review is the phone features, so not the Net10 service. This is one of the few (or only) phone on Net10 that has a full keyboard (for texting) and MP3 music player. Unfortunately it does not record or playback video.

Boost mobile is fuckin horriable!! i have the most expensive phone!! sumtime i cant even read mssg and prolly miss 4 or 5 calls a day...im getting this phone and it off verizon tower!! service is great ..ill rather saved just 5 bucks then got through the bullshit with boost.

In my area, this phone service uses Verizon towers, but in other areas it could use others. It depends on who Net10 partners with in your area. Boost probably does a similar thing, but could be causing issues on their end. Not sure. I have had excellent service with this phone, better then AT&T and Sprint. I get a signal EVERYWHERE, even in places I did not with other phones and carriers. I guess Verizon really does have a better system then most.

You would only save $5/month, plus I do not know how internet access is on your Clutch. That might be your deciding factor, and possibly network coverage, if you have an issue with Boost coverage.

I think this phone is great and very reliable. I don't text that much but when I do it's very comfortable and easy. Great review btw!

can u personalize msg tones? or do u have to use their polyphonic ones? cuz my T401G only lets u use polyphonic tones for txt nd pic msgs, also if u can customize ur msg tones can u customize them to individuals? like can u set a tone for each person or is it a blanket affair?

This is a really good phone. I use it with Net 10 unlimited. My main usage is calls, texts and pictures. The web browser does a job, but is not a full smartphone quality. The full qwerty keyboard is a real improvement.

@tmizzlebmx yeah I haven't had a problem with Net10, the service is usually great and I've read that it actually does use the Verizon towers so that explains the great quality of service but I literally have not had a dropped call yet.

I actually really like this phone. It's been incredibly useful and the funny thing is I have dropped it like a million times and there hasbeen NO problems. I call it the miracle phone. kinda silly I know. But it really is. Besides that I save so much money with it. I mean its 50 dollars cheaper than any other unlimited plan I know. you cant go wrong.

This is a really good recomendation for this phone. With an unlimited Net 10 package at $50 a month this is all the phone you need, and with the really great extras such as the qwerty keyboard, camera and mp3 player the best value that I have seen.

If you are a NET10 customer check out the new NET10 unlimited plan sold at Walmart. $50 for unlimited everything! They also have a new monthly plan selling for $25 which gives you 750 minutes per month. The REALLY good news is that you can switch between the two and use the unlimited plan some months like during the holidays and then use the 750 minute plan during other months.
