We've uploaded this video to show you modern Flint today. While Flint has gone through decades of economic decline, Jester's, a bar/tavern located on Center and Richfield Road, has expanded and grown.
Owner George Zaravelis, who previously owned Mr. G's in the 80's in Flint, has not only kept the doors open but has seen his business grow in the worst economic climate since the depression.
They've expanded and added a pool hall and dance floor, and there is often a line to get in.
You'd never know these images were captured in a town with 27% unemployment.
As one DJ told us, "...people drink when they're happy and drink when they're sad."

Jester's is a great place, but it is Genesee Township, not Flint.
