  • this was at sunnyside right? i went on the last day

  • actually much further down - as close as you can get to Ontario Place without being inside it (the spot they have the Dragon Boat races). This spot is awesome because the planes fly right in front of you and over your head! I was there that last day too-

  • I get a laugh from these rooskies always bashing on American planes. How come every country that can afford them flies American?

  • The F86 could take more punishment than the Mig15. But I think the American pilots were just way better, better trained than the North Korean/Soviet pilots.

  • 10 MiGs down for 1 Sabre over Korea, 'nuff said.

  • That's because the Sabre was known as the "MIG Killer."

  • But the MiG was great too. It could turn a bit better, and had a hell climb rate. However, the MiG 15 had a habit of going into a dreaded spin.

  • Sabre was better than the MiG 15...better view for the pilot, better speed, easier to handle.

  • simple , shitty north korean pilots =D

  • An Orenda 14 actually if you mean the ultimate Sword, ie. the Canadair Sabre Mk6. The Avon was in the Aussie version, which I must admit was better armed with 2 30mm cannons and Sidewinders.
