  • cousinrandom, are you serious about 50 dollars per box wow! how much for like .357 magnum round's?.

  • @rockystelone21 about $40 AUD for a box of 50

  • its nice to know that even though youre in Australia, you still get to enjoy a fun rifle like the savage mk II

  • @Charsept love mine to bits :D

  • It's 15 fucking dollars in Texas but not the best ammo depending on your rifle, if your rifle likes it your good if not go ahead and waste your money on the Remington stuff most guns don't like it but it's worth a "shot" otherwise try what I use it's Aguila SuperExtra it's a basic .22 round that seems to provide quality results in almost every rifle

  • @Seanlindsley mate try $50 here in aus and our dollar atm is $1.03 US :O

  • in america those federal things are 550 bullets for 20$

  • @CousinRandom gun are legal there! oh heck yes going to your country . you guys like americans very much

  • i prefer remington . there alot more consistent with the cartage . it seems federals have bad molding issues on some of the rounds . so i end up getting jams when i pull my bolt forward on my savage .

  • Ya Remington thunder bolts do turn some times

  • I like my thunder bolts I've never had a prob with them now I no there not the best but the re drf not the worst I've used a really shiittyy 22 round almost every time I put around in it would jam so I used thunder bolts and the once you have federal federal sucks for shot guns thow

  • I have to agree with the Remington thunderbolts..What i mean is that it worries me is that i picked up my Ruger 10/22 and went to the range and shot about 400 to 500 rounds of Remington thunderbolts and Blaser brass and only had one failure to eject..I can't remember what brand it was that failed..But what struck me as odd and i don't know if it makes a differenece is that i could grab the bullet end and the grab the rim of the casing and it TURNED? Freely?

  • Dont coat them with wax! Or it transforms into remington thunderbolts... Coat them with oil

  • @CousinRandom Ouch just picked up a 555 round bulk pack of winchester for 18$us. Is your ammo usually that much more expensive.?

  • @67mustangreg Good price i paid $38AU for the same box yesterday.

  • Thanks for the review i bought the Savage mk2 yesterday, I havent shot a firearm in over 20 years and just got my A&B license a few weeks back the dude in the gun shop recommended the Federal ammo so i bought a few boxes. I am glad you pointed out the mini mags, i'll have to get some of them to. I hear Hornet make a good .22 round as well you ever use these? And any recommendations for picking up some spare clips for the Savage? Cheers and thanks again.
