D. L. Moody once returned from an out-of-town meeting, and he told his wife that "two and a half people became Christians." She thought he meant two adults and one child, but he said no, one adult and two children. The adult had already lived half of his life, but the kids had their entire lives ahead of them.

My wife & I believe this. For years, we've sent the majority of our tithes/offerings to children's ministries in the Philippines. We believe Filipinos will be greatly used by God to reach the Muslim world for Jesus in the last days.

I grew up in several churches as an attending nonChristian (who didn't know it). One of the churches did not preach salvation, the others preached and I really did not hear it. Became a Christian at 33. I have, however, seen baptisms of the very young and then no evidence in those lives. I think that there is a balance in reaching the young (some of whom are merely parroting what we want to hear) and reaching adults.
very interesting, i had never thought about the thing about how the kingdom belongs to ones such as these, it really makes sense.
