  • Happy to please the old schoolers!

  • Another quality mix, Rob. Good work. If you are not a DJ, then you ought to be one.

  • Hey thanks man. I did used to be able to do these mixes on vinyl years ago but these are done with software. I am not a DJ though, just a hobby.

  • Well, you do well at your hobby.

  • Thanks. I enjoy it!

  • @EFC429 nice one for having your eyes open. whilst its not always advisable to be nostalgic, it is good that people your age have access to youtube to see what was happening back then. Its sad that kids these days have no movements coming thru, unless u class x factor as a movement. keep up your research mate, it really is important what happened in this era from mid 80s thru to prob 91 I would say music wise, and by the way the drugs had a big say in furthering the movement, but keep da faith!!

  • This mix came out in '89. I was born in '92.

I admit I listen to these artists and mixes more than today's music.

These songs and artists have more meaning than the lyrics and music of today!

  • this is around the time my binge through the 90's began...scary stuff

  • Loving this.

    Like your username, too! ;)

  • You simply cannot have rave without A Guy Called Gerald. You are now down in my books as a living genius Rob, along with Tony Wilson (RIP), Bez, Alexander Shulgin, Ian Curtis and David Byrne.

  • What software do you use?
