95% of these sites are replanted and again within a few years are helping the environment, they were planted for the timber industry thats what forestry is

You're just as stupid as the guy you replied to. Obviously hemp can't be used for things like lumber but there are a lot of things that we use trees for that hemp could easily replace. The only thing holding hemp industry back is the fact that is needlessly been made illegal. In reality, there are TONS of uses for hemp, if not more than trees.

@mesasola Just imagine lots of little seedlings where there used to be a full grown forest. Not really much to see, I've taken pictures of blocks that I've planted and you can barely see the seedlings. If anything, you should check out some videos of the actual trees being replanted, lots of those videos on YT. Search for tree planting or silviculture.

@djmisplacedmarblesTV as the tree get larger they dont take as much carbon dioxied the younger newley planted trees take the most in so when a forest reaches hieghts like this they are clear felled and then replanted thinned and managed so dont talk shite
