On October 5, in Monkton, Ontario Canada over 120 combines harvested 160 acres of soybeans in a near world record time of 11 minutes and 43 seconds.
Harvest for Hunger are raising soybeans for the Canadian Foodgrains Bank to provide food for less fortunate people who are struggling with famine and hunger. Money raised will go to the Canadian Food Grains Bank.

We actually raised $250,000! With a 4:1 match from CIDA, the Canadian Foodgrains Bank gets $1,250,000 for food aid and hunger relief. This is enough to feed 48,000 families for a year! Thanks for the help. Nobody has harvested 160 acres of soys, or standing crop this fast. 11 min 43 sec
