  • @imachavel This was a zero-g flight. There is actually almost as much gravity in low earth orbit as there is on Earth. The zero gravity is created by the space craft being in free fall. The only reason they don't hit the ground is because they are travelling so fast forward, about 17,500 mph, they fall past the planet's surface, so actually a free fall flight like this gives you pretty much an identical sensation to being in space though it may not be as smooth a ride.
