I guess you've never heard Jeff Beck...to paraphrase Joe Walsh's quote about Albert King and Eddie Van Halen....Jeff Beck could blow Kenny Wayne off the stage with his amp on standby. Not that Kenny Wayne isn't good, he certainly is...but to say that Beck isn't good enough to play backup in his band is just wrong on so many levels.

People, listen up. Buddy Guy's Legends in Chicago is closing at the end of January 2007. A local college owns the property and is giving Buddy the boot. If you're near Chicago, he's going to be appearing through the month of January,tickets on Ticketmaster. Catch him while you can.

Buddy Guy and Stevie Ray Vaughn are the two greatest Blues guitarists ever!! Not Clapton or BB. Buddy Guy because he is the ultimate showman and can capture an audience. SRV because of his mind blowing and amazing fast and powerful guitar playing. Clapton and others are very good, but these 2 guys are mind blowing!!
