Mitotic Fairytale - Block World
Interphase* - The pedestrians represent interphase. Not really a part of mitosis, but worth noting. They are normal, and going about with their everyday business.
Prophase - Mr. Prodds color change from white to red represents the dissolving of the nucleuss membrane.
Metaphase - Mr. Mikes three bulbs represents the sister chromatids. They are aligned, and thus represents the metaphase plate.
Anaphase Mr. Afs six bulbs and semi-divided head represents the sister chromatids being pulled apart. The slight connecting in the middle of the deformed head is the kinetochore.
Telophase Mr. Thomass two heads represent the separated nuclei, while the connected body (which would have been separated in Cytokinesis) represents the cleavage furrow. The connected body can also be represented as the phragmoplast.
*not part of mitosis
