I'm A PC 2

The ONLY thing windows has over mac is gaming. Oh and if you have a thing for catching a virus. Now true you can put better hardware into your del or hp ect. but at the same can be said with a mac. Most people dont cause...its already running good. If were talking starting hardware, mac always win. and software. if were going music,design or really anything other than gaming. MAC wins hands down. For those who can afford it, they always do. for the smartones who cant. they hackintosh.(me)

and i dont just use it for browsing, i torrent applications and poke around in ollydbg to check if they are malicious.

Well I would, but you know thats cool. I'll accept that - as a fair and reasonable personal preference for you to make. I used to be the same when I tinkered with PCs... But now that life is so much easier on a mac, I'll happily pay more for one - cos Im easily more productive and get on with 'living' more on a mac and 'computing' less. But I note that the same High specs as my macbook Pro on a laptop from Acer, ASUS and HP often costs more. Go figure?

and anyways, i find the mac osx to be very frusturating. you cant even play avi files...
you cant torrent mov's.

Well on my mac I play AVI files in quicktime, or VLC. Heck I even play WMV files in Quicktime. As for torrents, I download mov's with Transmission, no problem. A Specs Debate will be endless, just look for yourself and compare the components in a top specd macbook pro vs a HP/Toshiba etc & compare price. About the same! Infact the Apple is possibly cheaper & remember Apples depreciate slower than PC's,  Plus I get a stunning Aluminum casing and the top HP for instance is still plastic rubbish!
