Emerald Cowboy

Esmeralderos are the last of a dying breed. They are valiant rugged treasure hunters who thrive off the harsh Colombian outland, dealing in raw emeralds fresh from the mines in the jungle. Life in the emerald zones is hard, resembling the Wild West of the United States, but the men who live there are even harder.

Emerald Cowboy follows the true story of an Emerald Czar across a span of thirty years as he leaves his native Japan seeking to enter the emerald underworld of Colombia, South America. After learning the trade he soon realizes he must change his way of life in order to adapt and survive a business of violence and corruption. In time, he forms a crew of dealers alike and this becomes the foundation of his empire today.

With power and success come misfortunes as he is faced with betrayal, extortion and loss. His life long journey is filled with action, misadventures and bitter sweet love.
