Bachelor of Music | Composition & Music Production | Course Description
The Composition & Music Production Department of the Australian Institute of Music provides a professional and dynamic environment for music producers, electronic musicians and composers to gain a unique balance of technical and musical skills to take full advantage of opportunities in today's music industry. Students receive an unparalleled preparation for industry by being instructed in both production and music. They also receive an unsurpassed allotment of one-to-one tuition to hone their skills.
Students will also have access to the hundreds of talented musicians that thrive on the exciting environment of the Institute campus. The ability for students to learn with real musicians in solo or band format is invaluable training that will set them apart from any other Production graduates.
The Bachelor of Music degree
Students who want to realise their musical ideas should choose the Composition & Music Production Major. Associate study options enable all production students to either specialise or broaden their study program.
Major Studies

@lollipop9051 No. Pro Tools works fine under both Mac and Windows, as well as Linux with a lot of stuffing around or so I've heard. A lot of dedicated studio computers running Pro Tools are Macs just because it's less hassle and it works.

@2129Studios In the meter timeline where Patrick set the track to 4/4, you can add later events to change the tempo throughout the track. You can do this by either clicking on that timeline or through the tempo operations dialog from the menu. The alternative is to not change time signature but just change your grid snap to a triplet division while you compose your breakdown.
