Besides the back lit keyboard is a bit of a joke it really doesnoy light of that great for the amount of battery it uses. it really is not worth the extra money you will pay for it.

Its batteries last for like 6-8 months without backlighting so what are you talking about?.

no the only rechargeable keyboard out of the 7000 and 8000 is only the 8000, so *only* the desktop 8000 is rechargeable.

you mean the keyboard right lol? cause I only did mean the mouse is rechargeable but if the keyboard(from the 8000) is rechargeable I'll get the 8000 version

Ohhh the mouse is rechargeable on the 7000 but both the keyboard and mouse is rechargeable on the 8000.
