drbringit, I completely agree with you. While I feel mayweather has a point in the fact that it was LEGAL, it was incredibly unsporting, arrogant and cheap. Not even with football (soccer) where rivalries are intense and reputations and careers are on the line are disgraceful moves like floyd's seen, although present rules do not consider such moves illegal. If it happened there would be a huge outcry and that team would get no respect at all, even by their own fans.Legal but an untter disgrace.

@markbr: If you watch Floyd's post fight press conference, Amir Khan had come up in the discussions, and Floyd made a comment about how much England loves Floyd. How delusional can he be? After this sucker punch KO, he might have lost all of the fans over there. I'm sure the English don't think the KO was in "good form" and are also disappointed for his actions. @steveshayre: so far from the truth. I appreciate floyd's skill, but I do not elevate him to the All time great status. don't mistake that for 'hating' on floyd. He's a master at his craft, but strategically chooses his opponents. He is his "own boss" after all, right? He gets to choose who he wants to fight and when. He calls all the shots. It's a shame that none of the boxing historians will ever consider him one of the All time greats...none of them.
