thanks to everyone who commented on this video. i felt the need to post it because it expressed just how i felt at a certain point of my life, and now, it made me realize just how universal this feeling really is.

as for the films, i did find a small nod to the tv show on the second one. it's only a couple seconds, when bruce (norton) is in mexico, sitting on the street, head hanging low with hopelessness, you can hear harnell's theme song "lonely man" on the background playing softly.

This theme song has the same effect on me as the Theme from Somewhere in Time. And it gets even sadder when I remember Bill Bixby and Christopher Reeve are both dead.

You should see what was cut out of the movie on the DVD. The studio totally *&%$ed up the Norton movie; it would have been a lot better than it was, not great but at least a little better.

family guy reminded me of this show. damn good show. movies kinda sucked compared to the show.
