i had almost forgoten how my mother used to sing this to me as a younger child when i couldnt sleep i found my self humming this at school this week when i was feeling down and didt even realize what it was i love this tune

Thank you very much....it is not my song...it is an old traditional song. I am glad you like it. It is a murder ballad....the melody sounds sweet but the lyrics are quite heavy....:)
