An Aside Where I Toot My Own Horn

Here, I talk about a previous project I did that was an attempt to get Blizzard to listen---it wasn't until after I'd started with the Does Blizzard Really Hate Paladins series that I realized it had some degree of success.

This previous project was a series of WotLK suggestion talents trees, some of which were on war-tools.com, others of which were on an angelfire account that has long since withered and disappeared. I would post these suggestion trees in the class forums, get some class feedback, and then revise the talent trees based on that feedback.

Other players lost interested eventually, and so did I, but apparently Blizzard did not---here, I give them credit for that and argue that they did use some ideas out of those trees. Oh, Blizzard didn't use the majority of the stuff in those trees, but there's loads of parallels between my trees and the real trees.

You can tell from the fact that you need to select "All Time" and not "Recent trees" in the advanced search page means that they're old, and you can see I did more than one iteration of them on war-tools.com.

Naw, naw---Kalgan didn't actually post "Something, anything!" anywhere that I'm aware of; I just put that in as a kind of a punch line. I just figured out the font and the color of blue posts and edited it in using Microsoft Paint. It was intended to be a punch line, but it's in general the kind of thing he might post, it seems to me.

I found out I forgot some stuff, so I quick made Part 13.9 and put Part 14 on hold. I'll start on Part 14 again tomorrow evening, but I didn't do anything on it this evening because I was rushing Part 13.9 through. Sorry about the delay.

Good point; in a number of places, even before WotLK was talked about, Blizzard made it clear they were listening---I never mention this in the vids, but JoJ is an indication they were listening. Oh, it wasn't the snare we wanted, but it has its similarities. ...On second thought, maybe it shouldn't count...I dunno.
