  • This is great Trio vintage stuff when I think Richard was in his prime....

  • You're kidding? Richard is only now approaching his "Prime." Must say though, I loved him alongside his brothers. They were so much fun. They ought to re-group for a summer tour the USA.

  • Kirk Sand? Super Ace? McGill?

More information please. Are these all one and the same Guitar maker?

  • This is a killer Vid, and thanks for posting. Too bad about the quality, but what the heck. I have seen Richard twice. It's a jaw dropping show when he plays. He chooses really interesting material.

  • Richards dad made that Gretsch in his youth as he couldn't afford the real deal.

  • As close to Chet as I was ever able to get to- a ringing Gretsch guitar played by an expert. Richard gave us an update on Chet's health during the concert- it must have been about 1997.

  • Thanks. Compared it to the pictures on the McGill website ... I'm pretty sure you're right.

  • yes I think it's a Super Ace guitar. First time I've seen Muriel play Blue Angel.

  • it may be a paul mcgill

  • Go, Richard!!! Is that a Kirk Sand prototype he's playing that later developed into the Richard Smith model?
