Le Mans 24H - SimRacing

'Onboard' footage of a lap from the WOSEC GTP Le Mans 24H race held November 2006.
This 24H race for simracers had 35 entries and 9 finishers.
Onboard the SimRacing Toyota #79.
The video was recorded late in the race and the car was quite damaged. At the end of the lap I make way for one of the podium finishers.
I drove the race together with Michiel Pompert who was a terrific team mate. We brought the car home in 9th position.

Driven with FF wheel, clutch and H-shifter.

We drove a 24H du Mans 1970 with some French league and it was awesome!

Nice video... I'm Jim Ray and was in the 2007 affair in the219 LTS Oatas ride. Actually finished that car. :-) LIke winning the lottery. Missed last season but wont miss 2009 for anything. Hope to see you all there.

Oh what memories this brings back :) ... I'm Brendan Kaczmarek, I was in the #04 R4R Mazda... we ended up dropping out after 12 hours when the engine let go, but it was so much fun... Say, Remco - VTR is running the event this year as a last hurrah with a very much redone track - SFH may be back as well! If there's any interest, check it out - we'd love to have the old WOSEC crew back!

Hi Esben! It was indeed VTR2 who passed me at the end there, but it woúldn't have been you because Michiel drove the last 90 minutes of the race.

You were quite active on Radio Le Mans this weekend, weren't you? I think I heared your name mentioned three times! I was at the race this weekend :)
