its good to see so many people find nests of these turtles and let them go so they dont have to face the danger of getting run over by cars or eaten by animals on the way to the water because so many adult turtles get killed by cars the more turtles that make it to the water the better chance they have so surviving to adult hood so if a few do get killed by cars there will still be more to reproduce

thats a wierd spot to be laying eggs and anyways I was at a river and I saw something moving I picked it up and my eyes opened wide It was a baby snapping turtle! so I brought him home with me. every year I go to this river and catch animals like frogs, snakes, toads, and occasionally turtles. this was my first caught turtle so I go back to the river and see a huge adult! I was filled with excitement and fear as it swam away! My friend just gave me a baby snapper and it reminds me how small

I live in NYC and there native here but there's barley and wilderness and there numbers are dwelling cause of the polluted rivers and soil from the factories dumping chemicals in the river all the fish in the river are poisoned and you can't eat them.
