1- Where do you find all this reptile news?
I work about 7 days a week most weeks scouring the internet for reptile related news. I find hundreds of stories
per week from different places all over the world. The unfortunate part is I can only pick a few per day to talk
about because of the time it takes to produce the show but I do post a lot on the website that never makes it on
the show.

2- Why is your reptile news always doom and gloom?
I love happy news, we all do but the sad fact is our community has a lot of bad news going around right now and I
dont make the news, I just tell it so its not really me promoting doom and gloom, its more like just informing you
and promoting us as a community to ban together and change the future.

3- Do you actually think you are helping the reptile hobby?
Not only do I think I am but I know I am. I am a huge supporter and promoter of the reptile hobby as well as super
pro business. I spend every single day helping to promote a positive image of our hobby to the general public, what
have you done to promote our hobby today?

4- Will you promote my site, channel, business exc exc?
Yes I would love to do all of the above but I have a strict new rule that before I allow any promotion on DRN the
person must first prove that they are doing something to help our community.

I have been providing the daily reptile news for several years now. I started it with Foot Hill Reptiles in 11/2006.
When I sold FHR I started foothillherps.com and continued to provide the news on the forum. In January 2010 I started
providing it via you tube as well as the FHH forum. In February 2010 we went to high definition coverage of the
important daily news as it pertains to reptiles and amphibians. On March 15th, 2010 dailyreptilenews.com debuted as
your #1 source for Daily Reptile News.

The people trying to ban snakes are cutting off their noses to spite their faces !!! For one, imagine a large percent of angry, financially strapped people left with no income and a pile of business loans and debts they won't have any way to pay off if this ban crap goes through. I'm TOTALLY against people releasing their pets but I can't imagine how many pissed off people would go to such lengths to retaliate. Pissing people off in the hobby also kills any chances of education for the public.

totally agree with you jason, its the same with pit bulls...blame the owner not the pet. i am in SC and they did a study with burmese pythons and the weather here and they found that when we do have the cold weather that the pythons cant survive it. i love living in Sc cuz we dont have any bans that i know about concerning reptiles and i hope it stays that way.

You are absolutely right and that is where responsibility of the seller comes in as well. They should NOT be selling these animals to just anyone with a check book. Not just reptiles but any animal. Sellers in my opinion have a responsibility to the animals them selves to make sure they are going to good homes.

Many of these idiots don't even represent the reptile enthusiast community. They're the types who dive right in without taking a serious approach to the hobby of handling what could be potentially dangerous in the wrong hands. Why don't they ban these high performance sports cars because of the people who cause accidents with them? It's a shame that everyone has to suffer on the account of these individuals who don't know wtf they're doing.

@reptile411 i think they said they wanted to but i havent heard whether they have reached a decision....reguardless of what they decide, it will take the swat team at the very least to separate me from any of my animals...those are my children and i am like a momma bear when someone threatens them

Hey great show as always! i want a shirth that says ban stupid not snakes that would be awsome and i agree 100% that we need to hold ppl acountable when they break the laws reguarding reptiles. They are not helping but only hurting our community and ireasponsable people who want to own a large snake and not taking into consideration on how big or poss. agresive it might get are taking away my rights to own a large snake whom like 99% of the large snake owners out there i am very responsable
