If you die, you will witness nothing, all you are made off becomes part of everything else, but you are unaware of nothing, all these rituals that exist, all the religions exist to numb your fear of this nothinghness, of death.

Death. ..the dead are no longer aware of themselves, no longer remember God and unable to register the passage of time at all. The closest word to describe it is sleeping though death is not a sleep. It's like having never known living no more. Like being an inanimate object. The soul is there just no longer a living entity, no longer enjoying life.
Hmm but I often hear about ghosts and in fact in some rare instances 'see' ghosts. What are they? WHY are they not in death? They are not resting?

@RUABerean So you have read the original hebrew and greek you are very old. The original hebrew hasn't been around for atleast 1000 yrs before Christ. The original greek hasn't been around for 1800 yrs.

Actually, the KJV has SEVERAL errors. It's only the original hebrew/greek scriptures that are error-free. King James translators erroneoulsy translated the hebrew word SHEOL, the Greek words GEHENNA, HADES and TARTARUS-NONE of these words meaning a place of eternal torment-into the english word "hell". Also, the original scriptures speak NOTHING of "eternity." Taht's another erroneous tranlation of the word AION, which means an indefinite amount of time
