  • To install the hard drive in the white 13" Macbook early 2008, is it as easy as sliding the new one into the slot where the old one was removed? Also, can it take a hard drive that is more than 160 GB?

  • @devkbose - Yes, but you'll have to format the drive and install a new OS. Currently it can take up to a 1TB drive, but that is just because that is the largest currently available for the specs of this system.

  • do u need the screw driver or can it be any ordinary one

  • @LilCharliieee - You specifically need a Phillips #00 screwdriver.

  • what kind of screw are the right one to remove the L bracket?

  • @marlerran - Philips #00. The screws are attached to the L-Bracket and will not come out
