ok i have a 6990 with a 3.4 ghz phenom II quad core and i still lag in game sometimes. i installed extreme particle mod but that was it. Idk it just seems like i should get better performance?

@club4ghz i forgot to leave out that when I run MSI afterburner, it says its only using like 50% of both gpu's and it won't go over that! Why doesn't it work harder? All of the other games I play the percentages go up and down based on what's going on on screen, but when I look at a huge jungle with lots of trees for tessellation and explosions, both gpu's literally drop to 0% and they don't even try, shouldn't it be like 99% on both with all of that going on??...i don't understand

@MLBson9 Crysis with mods and custom maps is very system resources hungry i have 2500k 5ghz and gtx 480 1.5 GB overclocked beyond gtx 580 speed now and i run any crysis maps and mods smooth like butter. This pc in description Qx9650 4.3 ghz 2 Gtx 280 SC SLI was terrible for crysis had the same problem as yours

@club4ghz ok, I mean sometimes it runs really smoothly, and that's when it obviously says it's using like 60% of the gpu's. But it doesn't force itself to work the gpu's more for some reason.. but whatever I mean I don't really care as long as i will be able to play far cry 3 maxed!
