How to connect your ps3 to standard tv

I show step by step how to connect a ps3 to the tv for all the people who have standard tv's.

@tyxoo you need to plus the colors in the right places.. red to red hole, white to white hole, yellow to yellow hole....might also be loose in the back of the ps3, maybe need to change to video... need to check the tv for that. not really specific with you problem so idk.

yes just plug them in and change to the video it is on and you will have your ps3 running on SD. My suggestion is to get HD cables to run ps3 in HD but that is up to you.

@knucklemizzi5 Change the channel to video. Usually that is the problem. be more specific on what you are saying

I'm playing with my standard TV too but problem is most of the game text are TOO SMALL TO READ.. is it normal and supposed to be like that or.. i just don't know how to setup the display option to fit with my flatscreen standard tv??

Alright, i took the ps3 up to the living room over the christmas and plugged it in with HDMI now i have it on my TV down stairs but cant get the bloody picture on help!!

@tyxoo out of curiosity I called in a 29-inch TV with these cables yellow + white + red (which would be the worst possible connection and the picture was very good) much better than the ps2 - does not compare.

can put that in to play the good.

IMPORTANT: If the game was already connected by HDMI cable, when connecting cables to the normal need to hold the POWER button for a few seconds to reset the configuration and reconfigure it to output to the output at a lower resolution.
