Rubber Boots-Jensquare Original

So I did something really rare and wrote two songs within a couple weeks of each other! I was excited. That never happens. This is my favorite song so far and I want it to set the tone for my future songs because out of all my songs, this one seems the most comfortable for me. Let me know what you think! :)

I buy books used. I am drawn to the clutter of those charming, unorganized piles
I prefer taking them home and making them my own to the commercialism of "hot off the press"

I walked to the park even though it was pouring rain
My neighbors were watching me as if I had gone insane

You may not know: I don't like the sun when it could possibly rain
The softness of the raindrops compared to bright yellow kind of make the sun look vain
And who would wear sandals when you can wear rubber boots?
