I bought large driver from rental yard good resouce for stuff was lot cheaper than new.

I bought mine used from rental yard good local resource was about half price of new one.make sure unit is big enough to drive rod .rent it drive a rod to test unit .dont want to get one to small

thats nice when its goin into dirt, try a square distr. pad with a ground nest on each corner>> thats 12 rods on each pad, but going through baseball size stones they pour the crete onto, the best tool turns into a SAWZALL :D

been doing it that way for years- i use a smaller hammer drill- easier to carry up the ladder!

Try that in my yard. Lots more rocks. You'll need to do the two hander method...

No ground rod driver bit available for that Makita....you are prolly tearing up the shaft shank
