This is from www.windsandwings.com where a guy took a weed wacker, a propeller, and put the whole works on a bicycle. Pretty cool I'd say. I'm not the guy on the bike. I'm not the inventor either. I just posted the video with the original owner's consent. Please keep the comments positive.

  • If you think like others and are a typical clone (basically a human with no ability to think for yourself) then you will be offended by this video. If you are not a clone, not wrapped up in safety issues, and enjoy the freedom to think and decide for yourself, then you will really enjoy innovation, invention, and the creative human mind.

  • Lol I would hate to be on the business end of that propeller

  • hahahah! one of the few funny things iv ever seen on youtube

  • that is odd... it worked :)

  • About as loud as an ultralight, that's its drawback. Cool though. I'm guessing the engines spinning about 5000 to 6000 rpm (hard to really say), but its operating within limits. I always listen to the exhaust of any engine, each one singin' their song.

  • thats how we are going to get to mars

  • @erinlassley

I totally agree with you! "highmountain0" need's to shut his pie hole, I bet he is just jealous because he can't do this. Anyway you should like totally put some wing's on it. That would be pretty dang cool just flying around at that place you're at.

  • That's hilarious. And it works! How well it works (efficiency) is a separate question. And, it's just a teensie bit doubtful it would pass UL safety standards :)

Regardless, I seriously doubt the intent here is a marketable product. It's just an interesting and fun gadget project, and on that level, it's a success (as are other propeller driven bicycles seen on YouTube). For an efficient motorized bicycle, power would be delivered to the wheel, as with all motorized bicycles on the market.

  • @highmountain0 If you get close enough to the propeller to get injured, it's you fault for being close to it. These days, common sense is hard to find...

  • pretty cool lol. made 1 with a chainsaw motor, and it goes 45 ;)
