The best boyfriend EVER, Melvin. I "rescued" Melvin from CT. A vet's office had him because he had FUS - Feline Urinary Syndrome, chronic UTI's, and his owners could no longer afford his care and special diet, and they wanted to "put him to sleep". His supposed problem is very manageable,he has yet to have a UTI since I have had him, at the time of the video, 4 months and currently - He's been in our lives for almost a year...He is on a special diet, and also eats chicken, fish, pork regularly... He was skinny, scrawny, ugly (a face only a mother could love) and had no under coat. He is doing so well now, and is just a ball of personality. We love him so much, and he loves us too. He's happy and gets anything he wants, which is why the song for this video is "Anything You Want" by Roy Orbison.
His fur isn't grown out in this video, I gave him a few cuts to rid him of the snarls and dry skin in the beginning, and eventually grew it out. He's got the most beautiful coat I have ever seen on a Persian cat, I've had many. We do trim him down for comfort in the hot weather, but I will update with pics of his gorgeousness soon!

What a beautiful handsome man!! I love his "crazy eyes" on the couch! My Persian has a lot of the same mannerisms, they really make special friends! Have fun!

I also have a 'special needs' cat and he is now neally 14 years old which goes to prove, lots off love and attention works wonders.

AND he is sooo beautiful! I love his little nose. I prefer persians that actually have a nose instead of the peke-faced ones. :)
