I was told I was an peek I was teased and made fun of ppl don't realize what it does to a kid when they go home and ask there mothers why did such and such tell me I'm not black and not understand why ur so called own ppl a doggin you for being urself it made me avoid conversations with other blks in school for a long time

@jassieluv Aww I'm sorry to hear that. Yeah, it's like, what are you supposed to do when it's just the way you talk. And you're right about the effect it can have on someone, it can definitely make you very self-conscious. And it's like why? All because you don't speak enough slang according to someone's narrowly defined definitions of what a black person "should" talk like. Ridiculous.

Keep hanging out with "intellectual" people, no matter their race.Those who call you an oreo are not intellectuals, but fools. As long as blacks or whites keep making up stupid names for others are only trying to keep any form of racism alive. Aren't we "Americans", no matter your race?

To be honest, I would be more likely to approach, date, and pursue a type of woman such as you. I need an intelligent woman and sometimes because of my vocabulary women do not understand what I am talking about. Do not change yourself. I too travel and I do not meet a lot of women in my age group that has done things like that. Keep doing what you are doing. There is no such thing as an OREO because you are in the struggle just like everyone else. You are beautiful too.
