she didn't lip sync the whole thing... she was singing along to a lead track for a lot of it... especially toward the end. Either way it's a hot performance and the vocal is crazy.. prerecorded or not.lol

But I do think her voice has gotten stronger with age. Now, the background vocals is just a beautiful effect that shows her range off.

@MrMarla123 I agree she is singing live you can tell because she is emphasizing notes to be sure her voice is distinguished among her backgrounds cause they can easily blend and overshadow her own voice

Brandy does a lot of her own background vocals to emphasize her voice because it's somewhat soft. But, even so they're playing the background with her voice, she's singing the lead vocals not lipsyncing all of it. There is no way she could sing all those part of the song at one time. She always performs live and is very good at it.
