  • have you ever dug up a dead body, like maybe a bullet killed a guy from the battle, and you dig it and find a bone next to it or something lol, has that ever happened? i just always wonder that.

  • Fortunately, I haven't dug up a body or human bones. I have, though, seen a few animal bones including a cow's femur bone come from a trash pit.

  • how can it be 54 caliber?!?!

  • Which one?

  • What a thrill to find that Spencer! Nice going.

  • Thank ya! I was happy to recover it!

  • This is why archaeologists hate metal detectors. People use it for treasure hunting. What becomes of the artefact?

  • I bought a shovel the other day and it broke when I picked it up. It just fell apart. The only good news is that I got it on film! It at the end of my latest video. Anyways, I am thinking about getting a Predator Tool Shovel. Nice bullets!

  • Hey Ian. You seem to know just about every civil war bullet you come across. Man tell me what resources have you used to identify all these bullets. I find alot of Civil war Bullets, but I find it hard to id them by name. Is there a website, book or some type of resource I could use to better ID these bullets. Awesome video..

  • Nice job with the videos! How do you find your digging spots?
