  • Both north and south were complicit in slavery. It died a brutal death during the war. The emancipation proclamation was one of the greatest military tactics ever. It destroyed the souths system of labor. The north says it was about slavery... it wasnt. The south says it wasnt about slavery... they're also right. But my oh my did it destroy the south. If they would have had a different system of labor they might just have their confederacy today.

  • So a total of 6% of the African Americans located in the South were not slaves. That's a shocking number. That gives the south a 94% oppression rating. I don't know about you but I'd respect that they were kind enough to give 6% of the people their freedom. The other 94% didn't matter though because they are only used to "distort" the truth.

  • Nice try Viola.

Ten percent of the South INCLUDING the borderstates had slaves. >D!

..Borderstates were not the confederacy, nor did they give up their slaves. Shortly after the Emancipation Proclamation West Virginia was readmitted into the Union illegally as a slave state.

  • be surprised how different it was from uncle tom's cabin.

  • You've just stated the norhtern view of slavery. You know why they fill your head full of that crap? Because the north won. Slavery is wrong for one simple reason it reduces you to subcitizen and takes away your'e freedom of choice. If you rely on people to put meat on the table is it in your'e best interest to treat them badly? We are talking about economics here. Go read some accounts of actual southern slaves and southern slave owners, you might

  • They were still "southern" states. Just not confederate states.

  • those were sates that were in the union that kept their slaves till after the civil war

  • The hell does that have to do with what he said?

  • I commented on another version of this video - look at that.

  • Just an FYI....Maryland, Delaware, and Kentucky were slave states that remained with the Union. Thanks for playing!
