One of the musical interludes which was shown right before or after a commercial.
The classic cartoon from 1967-1969. A Trillium / Krantz production. Based on the legend of Robin Hood, only the characters are descendants of the Merry Men, living on an asteroid in space around the year 3000.
Robin Hood with a Flash Gordon touch. Imagine the hard-sell to studio execs at the time. But then, hey... early space age, rockets to the moon, "Thunderbirds" from British TV, "Johnny Sokko & Giant Robot" from Japan... Canada needed something too, right? Blame Canada. Again.
(Actually, Robin looks like Superman. With a white streak across the top.)
