  • most vegans are thin, just like most meat-eaters are fat lethargic and dying of preventable disease. "most" does not mean "all." most vegans are unhealthy not because they abstain from animal products, but because they don't exercise and they make poor food choices, which is the same problems unhealthy meat-eaters have (which are a vast majority of the meat eating population). if you watch your diet and work out: you'll be in good shape, vegan or not. vegans are just making an ethical decision.

  • Arent these 24s? I mean 2 poods look like this watch?v=3I-aTZBg1MI&feature=related.

  • All kidding aside,,, an amino acid is an amino acid. It does not matter where your protein comes from just so long as you manage to get all the essential amino acids. These are reasonably attained in a vegetarian or vegan diet. What does matter is the type of fat you eat and the greater portion of animal fat is no bueno. Forgetting about the moral issues about the treatment of food product animals, one should minimize animal in the diet for increased longevity as well as athleticism.

  • I often wonder,,,, cows are chalk full of muscle,,, yet they eat no meat - only plants. Dang it!!!! Where does all that beef muscle come from??? They must be eating rabbits or something when we're not looking. And oh my gosh,, now I wonder,, pigs!!! Where does their muscle come from??? Corn for crying out loud??? No one is going to believe THAT for crimeny sake. And now of course you have me thinking about grain eating chickens!! Sheesh, it seems muscle can come from veg diets afterall!!!

  • Most instructors use 16kg for demos, I use 12kg-16kg why overly force yourself during a demo is my reasoning? Especially when you have an entire seminar to get through.

But Mike is impressive, It doesn't surprise me he would use 32's

  • @Ladon68 in fairness this is a demo< he's obviosly not gunna be maxing out for a demo

  • @jasoncscs One, No Problem. Two is like wtf. :P

  • @jasoncscs Why would he make videos of himself doing something he doesn't consider impressive?

  • another typical vegan:

check out "Rob Bigwood Makes A Comeback"

  • @tpbisdivine not really i'm vegan 195lbs and terrifyingly strong - i have 4 vegan pals and they are similarly sized, a quick search online will show you crazy powerful dudes who are also vegan - search for vegan bodybuilding - there's a site with pics and bios of vegan bodybuilders i like to send people to when they want to argue about how vegan diets are unhealthy and they could not get enough protein as a vegan - if a pro athlete can thrive on a vegan diet, then surely all the puke bags can

  • great job love how mike talks a bout "proper form" he doesnt get hurt.
