If you have chance to go to China you will find what's Chinese news like. on the international part, it always tells us the world is peaceful and friendly. on the national part, it always reports on 3 things: the finacial, how bad some local government officers are and how good centre government is.

And BTW, Chinese military is really nothing but TRUELY defending power. Compare to british or whatever those offensive countries. Our government only know how to buy debt but nothing else, they don't know how to start a war.
