Corporation of London commission +Added Music to provide music and sound design to a beautiful and evocative portrait of the building of the most famous bridge in the world, as part of the all new exhibition inside Tower Bridge.
Scene 1 Before construction. Clarinet sets the mood over an empty pre industrial Thames with birds in flight.
Scene 2 The Plans. A light orchestral arrangement suggests dreams of great things to come and trumpet heralds the emerging of the completed plans.
Scene 3 Building Tower Bridge. Earth shaking bass takes over and leads the drama as the stage is set for a display of Victorian engineering power with the sounds of heavy construction blending in with the pounding rhythm.
Scene 4 The bridge opens. The synth bass is overtaken by double bass as a majestic fanfare follows the opening of the bridge and the first ship passes through.
