    Yes some bootlegs do sound bad, sometimes it's the recording itself that sounds poor. The equipment they recorded with wasn't always the best and I'm sure they would have sounded better live but yes I can see how some recordings would sound bad. Some are recorded straight off the floor, not mixed at all and rough as can be.

    Oh dear. I agree that some of the band were very good, but if you listen to some of the bootlegs.... needles to say, some of them sound really rough.
