#I have been in the lemur enclosure at Whipsnade zoo (2006) and I got to feed them. They are such funny creatures, they climbed on my shoulders and sat perched there. Also, if they found a sunny spot they would sit back on their haunches on the grass like Buddha (which was endearing/hilarious!)

ZSL doesn't seem to have barriers between the lemurs and humans...How does ZSL avoid unfortunate close encounters?
