  • hell no the song is amazing. I bet u listen to aqua or summin

  • I am thinking of changing careers at 41 years old making 60,000-70,000/year to get into commercial aviation... Am I crazy?

None of the talk about the down side of the Airline biz scares me away from persuing this dream. I have been fascinated by Aviation since I was a kid but got into other types on business...

So, from you experienced pilots regional and otherwise... Is it worth it???

    Sanity check anyone?

  • Don't let anyone tell you that you can't do it. Funding the training is harder than learning to fly. After all these years I am so close I can taste it!

  • @joseftexas

Don't let people say that you can't do it. I'm 28, flight instructing full time, and it took me 5 years to get through the training, still working on my MEI and have 600 hours total. If you have $30-$40K that you can come up with, fly full time somewhere there's good weather, get everything done in 6 months, then flight instruct for about a year, then apply. Not sure how the hiring will be in a year, but there's movement.

  • @joseftexas Go for it, live life to the fullest!!!!

  • @joseftexas you have 19 years until you retire........ that will be a hard thing to do if you want to get anywhere

  • @joseftexas Not to end up in a regional unless you have a great nest egg, a wife that wont be able to pull a pool boy while you're gone or no real reason to worry about being home. Regionals are terrible these days.

  • @joseftexas dont worry about the money do what you wont regret

  • @joseftexas Starting off now you will get paid 21,000-22,000 and If you wait out ten years the most you will make as captain is around 58,000 in a regional. You should have switched careers 20 years ago. Sorry man.

  • @joseftexas follow what makes you happy, if you dont atleast try you will forever wonder what if.......but be for warned its not a easy path and only do it if thats where your heart truly lies.

  • hell yeah ^^

    nice video!

  • I love the RJ family
