I have three questions to You:
1. What is the difference between playing guitar and lute? I mean about technique.
2. Where do You get notes from? Because I was searching in Internet (not very long, just a few minutes) and I found only some strange to me notes (medieval notes? I don't know).
3. Strings. Are they special? And if so, where do You buy them?
Thank You in advance :)

@TomassoMd
1- Main difference is right hand technic, with double strings for the lute
2- most of the lute music is in tablature (with letters or numbers) Tons of music on the net ;-)
3- Yes you need specific strings for the lute, you can choose gut strings, or modern synthetic strings. Easy to find on the net, makers are Savarez, Aquila, Kurschner and others.
Look for Wayne Cripps lute page for many useful infos and links, and look for "lute society" on the net. Good luck ;-).
