Camden Residents Still Smell Ammonia

A city says it feels like it's being held hostage by a smell they say is almost overpowering, coming from an ammonia dump.

And now, they're taking their fight to court.

The people of Camden in Benton County were told by the state, "Don't worry, when the Environmental Waste Solutions ammonia dump expands, we are going to make it close the cell that is leaking ammonia. Your problem will go away on Dec. 1."

Well, it's Dec. 15, and the smell is worse than ever.

Never will you see such total agreement in one city. Everyone you talk to in Camden wants the ammonia dump closed.
