Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Slow night. I think the weather man scared people away. It was on a friday so Saturday was the big one. Saturday is lantern night.

I used to love to go to Haleiwa for their bon dance. Is this the one that releases the lanterns? Hard time find parking!!

Yes, this is the one that releases the lanterns. Didn't go that day though. Very little parking that day.

I think it always has very little parking. A friend of ours at the time (Nake'u Awai, the designer) has family across the street and we got to park all our vehicles in their spacious front yard. One time I parked reallllllly far and walked. Not too safe.
