  • @SuperInverted It is a copy of the concept but the implementations are completely different, though the Vz. 58 was directly based off of the Stg44

there are major differences between the two (ak-stg)

    some are:

ak uses a rotating bolt while the stg uses a tilting bolt

The locking systems are two different design

The stg has a modular trigger pack design whereas the AK does not

The fire control parts are completely different on the two rifles

and many more differences plus many similarities

  • @RosstaPharian So does that mean that humans don't evolve?, i mean we have to evolve in some shape or form right?.

  • but resistance is futile if not one person is resisting but by knowlage u all need to look around and realzie the only way to revolt and get things done is by getting together and goin to washington and the un and everywhere these people exist and letting them no we dont want them any more and or that we wont stand for what their doing

  • @SuperInverted

The AK47 was clearly heavily influenced by the Stg 44, which would be far more appreciated if it had been in service longer.

Mikhail made some interesting modifications to the first "assault rifle" (Stg 44) which have stood the test of time.

Your first comment was appropriate...the AK 47 and it's variants is know the world over. Sad the StG 44 isn't as well.

  • @Amicus1952

They look alike, and the Germans came up with the idea of the intermediate cartridge..

All the Russians did was mess with it for a little longer. The Germans only had a few years to toy with it. Mikhail, on the other hand, was in a very different situation, and had a slightly different perspective -- The AK, and the 7.62x39 cartridge.

German tools are generally quite difficult to make. The Russians were of the opposite mentality.

  • @SuperInverted

    kind of...should be with a capital K ;)

they DO look alike, but that's about it.

  • The Germans invented the fucking AK! (kind of...)

    Sturmgewehr 44.

  • There will still be fighting amoung people regardless if there is "one world or not".

  • Alex is 1/2 truth, 1/4 alarmist, 1/4 patriot freak. He kills me with that fake laugh he gives. I like his program though. I digg Alex Ventura. He doesn't like to over hype the conspiracies. He likes to stick with the facts.
