To be fair JLU Aquaman also possesses the trident and actually used it in the particular episode he had to fight Wonder Woman, but he didn't use it.

@angelzcutie Because they were victims of a spell that caused Superman and Wonder Woman to see each other as some kind of demon. Afterwards, they see their reflexes in the pool from the mall and stop the fight

And go after the responsable of the spell cast on them.

@angelzcutie it was from an episode where they were in the mall and when wonder woman looked at superman he looked like a monster and vice-versa (i think it was some magic item that made them see each other as monsters)

@paradyneT101 I know. They're supposed to be on equal footing and there were times when Captain Marvel won when the storyline called for it, but DC won't allow Superman to lose to Captain Marvel, sadly.

@paradyneT101 Yes, Superman is DC's flagship hero. He's their mascot. And I know all of that, I'm a big Shazam fan. DC sued Fawcett over Captain Marvel because Fawcett was outselling them and then they bought him.
