DM&IR 316, 5-28-10

The North Shore Scenic Railraod ran special move to bring eight hoppers to Marbles for storage and bring back 63 coal gondolas.
1. Passing Canal Park and running parallel to I-35 in Duluth, MN.
2. At McCulloch St in the Lakeside neighborhood of Duluth.
3. Crossing Hwy 61
4. Crossing one of the many creeks that line the North Shore.
5. Crossing the brand new bridge over Hwy 61. This was the first train to use this bridge.
6. At Skiff Landing Road in Knife River
7. Running along Old North Shore Road/Co Road 101
8. Departing Marbles after having swapped the hoppers for the gondolas.
9. Coming back through Knife River.
10. Crossing yet another bridge on the line.
11. Cutting through Leif Ericson Park along the Lakewalk

Cool video, makes my shots look so... well amateurish. I was standing next to you at Hwy 61 just to watch the 316 roll by. Glad you got some video of them at crossing.
