"So having fun?" Nick asked with a mouthful of fries.
"I'm a girl and I'm shopping," I said in a high pitch preppy voice.
"Funny," he laughed.
"But you make it better. I guess," I said.
"Good," he smiled.
We continued our shopping for another hour. Neither of us bought anything else, but we had a great time together.
"So are you ready to head back to the hotel?" he asked walking out of Nike.
"Yeah," I stated.
Nick strutted ahead of me and had my door opened when I arrived at the door. Nick entered into the hotel garage parking lot twenty minutes later.
"Want to go to the beach?" Nick requested when he parked the car.
"Can Demi and Chelsea come?" I questioned.
He nodded and I leaned over and kissed his cheek in excitement.
"Yeah!" I giggled jumping out of the car.
I took off in the direction of the hotel lobby with Nick lagging behind me, yelling for me to stop.
"Hurry up!" I screamed in return, and with the echo of the garage, I'm pretty sure China heard me.
The lobby doors slid open right before I ran smack into them. I dodged the families dressed in their bathing suits and the little children running towards their mom and dad. Panting, I paused while waiting for the lethargic elevator. Nick eventually caught up with me as I was impatiently waiting for the elevator. The elevator doors revealed a maid with a bulky, cream color cart fill of towels. I skipped onto the elevator after the maid made her way out of the doorway. Before leaving the elevator, I informed Nick that I would meet him downstairs with Demi and Chelsea in fifteen minutes. I scurried off to my room and Nick sauntered to his. Demi and Chelsea were sitting on the beds watching One Life to Live.
"Hey, what is happening today?" I questioned setting my bag on the counter.
"Danielle and Destiny are at it again over the part of Starr in the school play. Todd kissed Kelly. John is leaving Marty for Natalie. Jessica regained her memory of Brody. Danielle and Matthew are officially a couple," Demi explained with her eyes still glued to the television.
"Oh, Gigi and Rex got back together!" Demi exclaimed.
"No way!" I yelped jumping onto the bed.
Chelsea and Demi both nodded their heads simultaneously.
"Do you guys want to go to the beach with Nick and me?" I asked pushing myself up from my stomach, five minutes later.
"Nah, General Hospital is coming up next. You go with your boyfriend," Demi shooed me out of the room into the bathroom holding my bathing suit in her hand.
"Fine," I sighed.
Ten minutes later, I was awaiting the arrival of Nick in the lobby of the hotel. I felt these muscular, smooth arms wrap around my waist.
"Hi," Nick murmured in my ear. The smooth, hushed tone sent chills down my back.
"Hi," I smiled turning my body around in his arms.
"Where are Chelsea and Demi?" Nick asked peeking around me.
"They didn't want to come. It is there soap opera time," I joked.
"Bummer," he sighed.
I laughed and pecked him on the lips and slid my hand into his. He led me to the beach and found a spot to set our stuff down.
"Tan or water?" Nick pondered to himself.
"Water," I answered for him.
"Race ya?" he looked down at me.
"Go!" I screamed, already down the shore.
"You cheated again!" he hollered.
I fell into a hole and splashed into the water. Nick came running in, laughing at me.
Nick was clapping when I stood up from the water, "Nice job klutz."
"Shut up," I laughed and flung at him.
He pulled me close to his body and whispered, "That is what you get cheater."
"I'm a girl I should get a head start," I replied in his ear.
Nick turned his head and looked at me.
"What?" I asked confused.
"Nothing," Nick smiled.
I returned the smile and leaned towards his soft, perfect lips. His chocolate brown eyes starred into my eyes and they were slowly inching toward me. In five seconds, he kissed me with more passion than any guy has ever attempted. His hand slowly roamed up and down my back as he tried to pull me closer to his body. Helping him, I wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling me closer to him. Nick grabbed my legs and wrapped them around his body. His hands remained planted on my butt as he held me up, for my hands rose to his hair. I moved my fingers through his wet, salty hair. With the kiss decreasing in intensity, Nick lowered me back down to the ground.
He broke the kiss, but continued to consistently peck my lips. A grin spread across my face as I starred into Nick's eyes with only our noses touching. Nick cupped his hands under my face, rubbing my cheeks with his thumbs.
