Mine came out great. I added a little too much liquid so added a couple of extra tablespoons of flour at about 1 1/2 hrs, then also did the butter thing and the consistency was perfect. I wasn't sure about the shrooms so I also added potatoes. thanks. will try a few other recipes

This is not stew. Stew is thick. This is really runny and more like soup.

Fantastic, Heather! This recipe inspired my own beef stew. I made some minor adjustments with what was already on hand. I used Marsala wine and potatoes and green peppers instead of mushrooms and peas. The butter/flour paste worked like a charm. Again, thank you!

Very nice. I use red wine in my stew to give it a delicious flavor and rich color. Hope you'll take a look sometime. Beef stew is a great dish that tastes even better as left overs the next day. Thanks for a great video!
